The 2013 Oscars are approaching, and if you never got around to seeing Argo, Lincoln, Zero Dark Thirty, Django Unchained, or Beasts of the Southern Wild, now’s your chance to see them reenacted… by kids…

BMW Designs A 42-Wheel, 19-Engine Car To Fulfill One Child’s Fantasy

- It’s a BMW

- 42 wheels, and of course 42-wheel drive
- It is powered by 19 Porsche engines, each producing 459 horsepower.
- The engines are all linked to a single transmission.
- Power output is subdivided to all those wheels via a series of limited-slip differentials
- There are seats and three steering wheels, and all three can drive the car at the same time.
- The trunk is full of toys and you can play in it

The model name that I came up with is “4219ELi” – 42 wheels, 19 engines, an Extra Long wheelbase, and fuel injection.

I wish this worked on my son when he was this age: Star Wars Theme Song Calms Crying Baby

We discovered by accident that the Star Wars Theme Song has magical abilities to calm the baby down. He was screaming and crying in the car one day, and the MP3 player started playing this song and he just stopped. Then, every time after that when he’d be crying for no reason (we knew his diaper was clean, tummy was full, etc.) and we’d play this song, he’d perk right up.

He is 4 months old in this video.
